CSR Policy

1. Object

Adea develops this Policy understanding Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) as the impact that its operating processes may have on its customers, employees, shareholders and investors, the environment and society in general.

Through its CSR Policy, Adea is committed to contributing to social and environmental improvement, conducting its activities in an ethical and sustainable manner.

2. Our Commitments

Adea's commitment to society is summarized in the following areas of action:

2.1. Responsible and ethical management in business

Adea seeks to ensure efficient economic management, which generates value for its shareholders and investors and indirect wealth for society. To this end, transparency, business ethics and respect for legislation are fundamental pillars of the organization.

This CSR Policy is aligned with Adea's Code of Conduct, published on its website and therefore made available to all its employees and all interested parties. It establishes behavioral guidelines adapted to their ethical and legal values.

2.2. Environment

Another of Adea's commitments is compliance with environmental legislation. Adea makes responsible use of natural resources and keeps the environmental impacts of its operating processes identified, establishing the necessary actions to minimize them.

Due to its activity, Adea does not produce hazardous waste in significant quantities, but all this waste is responsibly managed by approved managers. Non-hazardous waste is also properly managed and all the amount of paper and cardboard resulting from its document destruction process is managed for recycling.

Adea is certified in the ISO 14001 standard and annually calculates its carbon footprint to determine the amount of greenhouse gases generated by its activity. To mitigate this impact on the environment, a carbon footprint reduction plan has been established.

Adea is committed to equal opportunities for all its employees, without distinction or favouritism based on gender, culture, age or physical condition. In addition, we are committed to measures to promote family reconciliation.

The professional development of each of the people who work at Adea is also one of the organization's objectives, so there are annual training plans to help all employees develop their competencies.

Adea provides the necessary means for all its employees to carry out their work activities in a safe work environment, ensuring the safety and health of all the people who make up the company and all external personnel (suppliers, customers, visitors...) who access the facilities.
